Speaking of road kill ...there is always something running across the road in Texas. Our last two encounters included an armadillo and a bunny. I was sad about the bunny but NOT the armadillo since he'd been digging up my flower beds! The funniest was when Whitney and I were driving together and a big bird swooped down right in front of us. There was this massive poof of feathers. When we looked behind us there was a convertable with the top down and feathers were flying all over the driver and passenger. It was soooo funny watching their reaction!!! You gotta love Texas!

Yeah...nuts and berries ARE gross. Turns out I identify with raptors. They're not so bad.
